Job Title: Vice President – Global Planning and Inventory Management

SUMMARY:
The VP of Global Planning and Inventory Management leads all key planning and inventory management activities across each of the Company’s regions and channels. Closely aligned with Merchandising, Product, Regional /Channel leads, Planning, Sourcing and Finance – all critical partners for success. This global leader is responsible for developing the planning and inventory strategies to manage and drive revenue and profitability for the Regional businesses. This role is accountable for successfully and accurately planning inventory investment, product flow, inventory turns and margin to ensure that our company objectives are met/exceeded. This key leader will help create and drive process discipline across the organization using reporting, analysis, and benchmarking. Leads teams for Global Demand Planning and Supply Planning teams to enable Crocs to exceed revenue targets, consistently and successfully deliver on-time, and drive exceptional customer service while driving speed to market and inventory turn objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• PLANNING/INVENTORY PROCESS:
• Leads and is accountable for Global Planning functions within Corporate Inventory Business Planning (IBP) processes:Regional Review, Financial Review, Executive IBP
• Responsible for ensuring the Regional Merchandising teams are completely integrated with and supporting the Regional IBP processes.
• Collaborates with Global Merchandising in setting seasonal strategy and buying guidelines.
• Develops strong partnerships with the core cross functional team (Merchandising, Product, Region/Channel, Finance and Marketing) to ensure buy-in to product flow and inventory levels required to support regional needs
• Leads and supports the Global Planning team through the planning and buying process
• Leads analytics, forecast reconciliation and adjustments during regional buy roll-ups and final regional buy reviews
• Approves the final buy for their region in partnership with Regional Finance and Channel leads.
• Leads and is accountable for Global inventory execution; safety stock, prebuild, inventory turns.
• Leads and is accountable for execution and on-time/in-full delivery of global purchase order process for all channels.
• Leads and collaborates with Asia Production Planning Operations to achieve customer delivery expectations.
• CAPACITY/SOURCING PROCESS:
• Leads Global Capacity team focused on alignment of Global Operating Forecast output with capacity
• Manages the Global Capacity processes driving cost-effective capacity utilization with all Croc’s suppliers.
• Manages the execution of Factory Scorecards and associated data, process and execution.
• CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:
• Leads continuous improvement activities within Global Planning.
• Ensures delivery to target of key performance indicators; response time on changes, overall matching to customer orders and dates, on-time delivery and supplier forecast.
• Responsible for development, implementation and execution of Global Planning solutions:process, tools, organization.
• Responsible for driving effective exception management processes specific to Purchase Order management, maximizing Customer Order match.
• Lead and develop a world class team, achieving high levels of engagement through positive motivation.
• Key interface for Executive and Global Planning, Regional Sales and Global Merchandising leads within wholesale and DTC.
• Key contributor to mid and long term Sourcing Strategy

QUALIFICATIONS:
·BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain or relevant field of study
·15+ years experience in Merchandise Planning, Supply Planning and/or Supply Chain Planning
·Demonstrated relevant experience - Industries: Footwear, Apparel; Channels – wholesale, retail, eCommerce; Global Reach: North America, EU, Asia
·SAP/AFS experience preferred
·Preferred: Expert EXCEL and moderate ACCESS Database capabilities
·Fluent English speaking and writing skills
