POSITION SUMMARY
The Allocator position is an integral role in Direct to Consumer (DTC) and responsible for initial set allocation and replenishment functions supporting all retail locations of The North Face. The Allocator acts as the primary liaison to Merchant, Planning, Distribution Center (DC) and Store Operations teams to execute and support corporate vision and financial objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ongoing cross-functional partnership with merchant and planning teams and develop allocation strategies, execute proper assortments, store clusters and presentations of floor sets and back stock inventories
• Analyze Sales & Inventory reporting to determine allocation approaches that address style/color/size needs at Regional/Territory/Store levels
• Seasonally recap and report location and size selling performance and needs
• Partner with Planning to capture sales trends, identify key business drivers and constant process improvement
• Execute New Store assortment/inventory builds, responsibilities including: partnering visuals, store operations, DC/Logistics
• Manage Distro tracking and analyze/research on inventory & in transit
• Participate in store visits; communicate findings and recommendations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• 1-2 years of experience in retail and/or office environment preferred.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree desired.
• Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• Demonstrates logical analysis and problem solving skills
• Possesses an ability to understand financial measurements and how to impact them
• Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills
• Able to deliver strong and thorough presentations, clearly identifying business issues and decisions
• Able to organize and prioritize - demonstrate logical analysis and problem solving skills
• Able to build and maintain productive relationships with cross-functional teams
