SUMMARY
The Account Executive will be responsible for direct sales of mainly Golf plus branded Men’s Leather Accessories categories to achieve seasonal/ annual sales targets in addition to creating and implementing innovative wholesale initiatives to grow market share.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Establish strong relationships and regular communication with Divisional Merchandise Managers, Buyers
• Understanding a very diversified customer base from specialty stores to mass merchants plus internet
• Build and develop financial budgets by account, by brand, by product categories to ensure sales /gross margin corporate goals are achieved/exceeded on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Pre-customer meeting to review with team and post meeting re-caps
• The proactive and regular monitoring of retail/wholesale selling performance to meet/exceed mutually agreed upon expectations for margin, volume and sell-through by door and roll up .
• Optimization of product selection to ensure final assortment meets needs of each market and establishes competitive product presentation, brand presence on every floor and door
• Strategize and implement brand and wholesale key initiatives within point of sale to elevate brand position.
• Develop and assess distribution network to optimize sales opportunity and brand presence in market.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Travel as required to accounts, trade shows and meeting with Miami Golf Team
• Strong understanding of the golf market and/or Men’s Accessories plus its needs
• Perception of product and merchandising
• Knowledge of market research, sales, negotiating principles
• Demonstrates competency to anticipate and capitalize on the changing dynamics of the marketplace
• Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
• Strong cross-group collaboration experience, capable of engaging with merchandising, planning, marketing and support organizations
• Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Google Applications and Excel
• Ability to prioritize , multitask ,work independently ,meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Clear understanding of financial measurements; ability to leverage to achieve goals
• Strong understanding of retail math and sales planning
• Customer focused approach and quick to respond to client requests
• Negotiation, analytical, and planning/organization/presentation skills
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
