MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This role is responsible for developing revenue strategies, including gross to net management and associated tactics, to drive revenue/profit maximization.
• He/She will be proactively pushing the thinking (through data) for commercial strategy and tactic developments, interacting closely with sales, trade marketing and finance. And supply and marketing
• The role will also drive change management by embedding the Revenue Management mind-set and ways of working, to ensuring the application and development of newly established processes and procedures.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Develop and design a framework and KPI tracking process for the analysis, review and execution of strategic revenue management process in the US business
• Guide the review and recommendations of the revenue and trade spend to optimize revenue including management reviews with senior management.
• Lead monthly P&L forecasting process through financial analysis on promotional activity, merchandising, pricing decisions, co-marketing activities, etc.
• Perform financial modeling/analysis and pro forma financial statements to develop annual trade budget including optimization and sensitivity analysis as input to operating plan.
• Guides development of promotional guidelines and trade spend allocation recommendations to continue to enhance performance of spent
• Ensure proper analysis is completed for the evaluation of trade spend , promotion effectiveness, pricing and COGS optimization.
• Establish ROI metrics, tools, processes and controls to ensure trade funds are being used efficiently to promote profitable growth and increase brand awareness.
• Business process owner of Infotracks, includes leading through opportunities for simplification and data accuracy. Participate on any major system upgrade or change teams for the trade administration areas.
• Establish historical database of learnings and implications for all trade investments.
• Oversee monthly trade forecast modeling, reconciliations and compliance.
• Responsible for maintaining comprehensive training and FAQ documents tailored for each group involved in the trade promotion process.
• Identify, own and maintain a channel opportunity pack and price strategy innovation plan.
• Work with the marketing leadership team to identify media optimization opportunities.
Necessary Business Skills:
• Deep understanding and experience of running strategic revenue management projects and or thinking – Pricing, Promotion, Product/Channel Mix & Store Coverage and Trade Terms/ GTN Optimization
• Experience of Change Management and capability building would be a plus
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to respond under pressure
• Highly data literate with ability to work with multiple continuous data sources
• Strong organisational and time management skills and ability to prioritise
• Experience of working in cross functional teams within a matrix environment desirable
• Ability to switch between strategic and operational mind-set

Qualifications and Background:
• Over 7+ years’ experience in FMCG industry in operational, business or finance partnering roles demonstrating excellent Financial & Commercial acumen
• MBA Preferred.
