Title: Social Media Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Ecommerce & Marketing
Overview:
The Social Media Coordinator works collaboratively with the Digital, PR Creative and Merchandising teams to grow brand awareness through social media. This role focuses on maintaining multiple social channels while building a true community within our social media platforms, marketing to delivering important brand messages, engaging with customers, and influencers to help convey the BHLDN customer journey.
Responsibilities:
• Implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, community and customer engagement.
• Publish content across social media platforms including Instagram, Instagram Stories, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Youtube, Vimeo and Pinterest
• Manage all social organic campaigns and day-to-day activities including identify relevant content topics that works for different roles of each social channel and managing the social content calendar
• Write social copy for all organic posts and maintain schedules on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Google+
• Build and maintain all social media communities and become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate- Monitor, listen and respond to users on daily basis, conduct online advocacy and open stream for cross-promotion
• Monitor all UGC submissions and BHLDN bride email submissions
• Stay informed on the constantly changing landscape of social media, spotting industry and cultural trends, best practices and emerging technology and risk
• Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal / qualitative data into recommendations and insights to revise social strategy
• Knowledge of Social Studio, Curalate, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Wordpress
• Skilled in graphic design for social marketing ads and posts as well as minimal photo retouching
• Manage relationships with Facebook, Instagram, Curalate, and Pinterest reps
• Support PR events, collaborations, and giveaways through social promotion
• Partner with PR team to execute strategic influencer partnerships and cultivate relationships with / manage outreach to relevant influencers / select partners to secure brand-elevating coverage
• Work with Merchandising team on selecting product for monthly micro-influencer partnerships / gifting & utilizing content cross channel- email, on site, etc.
• Send out all partnership / gifting samples and contracts to influencers
Qualifications
• 1-2 years of social experience or a relevant internship
• Very strong presentation and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, Instagram Stories, Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest and other popular or emerging sites
• Excellent writing skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• Passionate about fashion and media
• Team player and Collaborator. Excellent communication skills.
