Overview
Anthropologie Home is seeking a savvy, interiors-obsessed member of their social team for a new role in the business. The Social Media Manager, Anthropologie Home works collaboratively with the Creative Editorial & Social Media Director, Creative Merchandising Manager, Marketing Manager and wider social media team to develop, set and maintain brand strategy, partnerships, and a robust calendar of content for Anthropologie Home. The Social Media Manager, Anthropologie Home, will develop innovative, best-in-business home content within all social media and content platforms with a focus on business results, brand awareness and new customer acquisition. They will look for strategic ways to tell the brands story through clever social media content and marketing campaigns that drive sales and promote Anthropologie Home to both current and prospective customers.
Responsibilities
PLANNING & EXECUTION
• Plan, create, and schedule daily messages for social platforms (prioritizing Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook), ensuring that all messaging aligns with monthly and weekly marketing goals and themes.
• Maintain the brand voice through informed yet approachable copywriting and ensure all imagery is brand-appropriate, compelling and aspirational.
• Source inspiring imagery for Pinterest boards with a focus on brand imagery that can link back to product stories and engage her during her crucial planning phase.
• Manage product tagging and populating of the Anthropologie UGC gallery daily.
• Spearhead innovative brand and influencer collaborations with the aim of reaching new customers and boosting brand equity.
POP-UPS + MARKET TESTING
• Work with merchants and allocation to identify key home markets and develop strategies for results-driven local marketing.
• Work with the Marketing and Events teams to execute meaningful and sales driving events focusing on Anthropologie Home
• Collaborate with the Store + Merchandising teams to create bespoke pop-ups in key markets
COLLABORATION
• Partner with Editorial, Marketing and Social teams to plan weekly brand storytelling and mini campaigns based on the monthly marketing brief.
• Work with Affiliates and Paid Search teams to optimize promotional conversion and maintain a cohesive social media strategy across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with Copy, Digital Design and Marketing teams to tell aspirational and product-focused digital stories on a weekly basis
SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING
• Develop compelling marketing campaigns for Anthropologie Home across all key social platforms, including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest
• Work cross departmentally with creative and buying team to tell strong stories that drive business results and engagement
• Work cross departmentally with digital marketing to consistently test and learn on paid media and paid marketing initiatives on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
• Work collaboratively with the PR team to ensure the delivery of press stories to grow awareness and drive traffic to website and digital platforms.
CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
• Partner with the Creative Editorial and Social Media Director and Senior Digital Designer, Social Media, to develop the best SEO-friendly and social-led interiors content in the market, including but not limited to: Influencer programs, market trends, sponsored partner content, How-to tutorials and DIYs, and more.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Influencers, chefs, hosts, and a stable of freelancers across copy, video and photography to strengthen Anthropologie Home storytelling and content platforms.
• Work closely with merchandising to tell the right stories at the right times, leveraging best sellers in order to ensure focus on the most appropriate product and stories, driving sales through social media and marketing.
Qualifications
• 3+ years marketing, social media or related experience
• An excellent ideas person, happy collaborator and excellent communicator.
• An articulate wordsmith and copywriter, combining a sense of humor with a sophisticated point of view.
• Culturally relevant, with a highly developed interest in interior design, fashion, art, and photography as it relates to the Anthropologie customer.
• Ability to work on a variety of projects at one time.
• Ability to build relationships and work with a variety of coworkers across multiple teams.
• Passionate about culture, branding, and the space in which they intersect.
