GENERAL FUNCTION
The Director Finance, Planning, and Analysis is a strategic financial partner for the Retail Services organization responsible for managing the costs associated with department overhead expenses, labor, construction capital, occupancy costs and repairs & maintenance spend. Other responsibilities include creating the department annual plan, quarterly forecasts, capital budgeting, post audit analysis and monthly reporting.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for sales forecasting, marketing impact on sales and identifying cost efficiencies
• Delivers weekly business reporting package and insights
• Develops financial modeling for 3 year strategic plan
• Responsible for tracking tests, analyzing results, and presenting insights
• Works with the Business Development Team to test, develop and forecast new business initiatives and growth
• Responsible for monthly close process and monthly financial reporting
• Leads strategic/tactical business initiatives (may or may not be financial) that provide broad-based value for the brand
• Provides status of financial condition of the company by collecting, interpreting, and reporting key financial data
• Coaches and develops future financial/business leaders
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• BBA or MBA in Finance or Accounting
• 10+ years’ experience in related field
• Supervisory experience
• Business leader with broad financial background (FP&A, accounting, M&A, etc.)
• Outstanding business acumen and critical thinking skills; brings logical solutions to business issues (not just financial)
• Ability to develop and coach Finance team to create leaders that can penetrate the business
• Solid analytical skills with ability to breakdown complex issues into key business drivers
• Financial and management reporting skills – can develop easy to understand reporting with insightful perspective
• Presentation skills; experienced in creating and delivering presentation for senior management
• Proven track record of improving processes and creating value beyond their immediate area of influence
• Strong drive and sense of urgency

Public accounting and retail industry experience
