GENERAL FUNCTION
The E-Commerce Channel Sales Analyst (ECSA) supports the Senior Director, E-Commerce (SDE) and the e-commerce Account Managers with achieving sales growth within the dynamic e-commerce channel of trade, which includes fashion and optical pure-play e-commerce customers. The ESCA will be a critical part of the team supporting the identification of growth opportunities and delivering on sales objectives. The ECSA will bring analytical insights to the E-Commerce sales team, make recommendations to customers, and support forecasting and planning of the e-commerce channel.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the SDE in the achievement of annual performance objectives including sales units, dollars and AUP.
• Actively participate in customer meetings, assisting in the presentation of collections, assortment building and recording in the Assortment Management Tool (AMT).
• Recommend customer brand assortments based on sell out performance and new product introductions.
• Plan new market introductions to manage the customer AMT.
• Maintain reporting systems to track sell-out performance, customer inventory, and turns.
• Monitor customer’s weekly replenishment order flow and monthly return request.
• Deploy customer new product introductions and fashion replenishment.
• Project weekly and monthly wholesale shipments to feed the company planning cycle.
• Develop relationships and trust with key
• Analyze customer’s wholesale shipping and retail selling for the purpose of budgeting and reporting internally.
• Deliver timely brand and customer reporting as requested by the brand management team, inventory planning and business intelligence team.
• Develop relationships with internal departments including business planning, inventory planning, sales operations to effectively support the SDE and drive segment strategies.
• Plans, reconciles and reports the monthly co-op log and workbook.
• Collaborative contributor to the team sharing account insight, feedback and analytics.
• Attends sunglass markets in New York 3 times a year.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree; concentration in business/finance preferred
• 2+ years’ experience
• Demonstrated experience working with multiple data sources
• Results oriented with strong strategic sales approach
• Strong analytical skills, verbal and written skills , as well as strong presentation skills
• Ability to develop and maintain key management relationships
• Effective project management skills and strong organization/time mgt.
• Demonstrated ability to succeed in a complex environment
• Strong PC skills, including Excel, SAP, Powerpoint
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 2 years of experience in a similar role involving Product/Assortment sales analysis in CPG, electronics, fashion or retail industries is a Plus
