BHLDN: Content Producer
Unveiled Valentine’s Day, 2011, BHLDN offers the bride, party-goer, and party thrower something outside the ordinary for her most anticipated occasions. Catering to a small coterie of smart, creative women and focused on personalization, we go beyond the dress, bringing together inspiration, community, and a diverse, yet edited product assortment designed to outfit an event in its entirety. Heirloom-quality gowns, party dresses, and accessories—from hair adornments and jewelry to footwear and lingerie—are available through an online shop (www.bhldn.com) and in two stores in Houston, TX and Chicago, IL.
Title: Content Producer
Reports to: Jr. Developer
Overview:
The Content Producer works with the Junior Developer to facilitate changes and maintain the BHLDN website in order to serve our online customer. The Content Producer also works cross functionally with brand teams to implement site changes, launch homepages, landing pages, blog updates and email campaigns.
Responsibilities:
• Support day-to-day management of front end development including functionality, development, quality assurance, publishing and vendor relationships.
• Ensure site is updated in a strict timeline for product and content
• Track content analytics and make suggestions based on performance
• Provide HTML support for numerous creative promotions, using our CMS
• Maintain site content, copy and design updates, ensuring cross-platform compatibility
• Code & QA marketing emails across multiple browsers & devices
• Collaborate directly with Designers, Marketing, and Web Producer to coordinate the timely release of web updates
Qualifications
• Expertise with HTML/CSS/Javascript, jQuery or other modern javascript libraries
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles
• Ability to translate traditional desktop experiences to touch-screen devices
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence and Basecamp a plus, but not required
