General Summary:The Associate Online Merchant will be responsible for the activation & attribution of products to the site, managing a subset of site-facing categories, and completing analysis for their areas of responsibility. The role will also serve as the point of contact between buying, site operations, and the photo studio team. The Associate Online Merchant will report to the Manager of Online Merchandising.
Reports to:Manager, Online Merchandising
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Activate & attribute new products to website and ensure product is available for purchase in applicable categories
• Partner with Online Merchants to learn the foundational aspects of online merchandising – including merchandising of categories and digital analytics, etc
• Complete Adobe Analytics analysis to determine actionable items to optimize .com demand (including but not limited to product selling, navigational performance, email & site performance, onsite search, etc)
• Create & drive seasonal site strategy for defined areas that supports the marketing & buying strategies (i.e. – attribution, merchandising of collections, curating onsite search pages)
• Complete weekly recaps & attend cross functional meetings as the subject matter expert for .com
• Partner with the CRM team to provide CTA’s for marketing & validation of emails & site assets
• Identify marketing voids & request additional content (HP, lifestyle tiles, & 20% messaging, etc)
• Communicate merchandise status updates through the use of existing tools to all relevant cross functional partners
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions
• Take the lead on special assignments or company initiatives
• Understand overall digital business & company-wide merchandise strategies

Qualifications
Experience:
• ATG or ecommerce knowledge
Education:
• 4 year degree required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficient in Omniture & BrightEdge – systems not required for the prior AOM role
• Proficient in XM – system not required for the prior AOM role
