Are you ready to set the standard for Premium apparel?
Main purpose of the position:
This position collaborates with Design to ensure product is executed with the highest quality and within cost parameters. They will report to Product Development Manager and Senior Product Developer.
Major Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Communicate daily with manufacturers to ensure product specifications, quality standards and deadlines are met
• Coordinate approval of wash/trim/color details between design and vendors
• Coordinate salesman sample procurement, receipt and distribution in alignment with seasonal calendar
• Ensure designers accurately enter lineguide information in PC
• Attend fittings to ensure product is on calendar and within cost parameters and problem solve when issues arise
• Allocate product against manufacturers for the best possible execution
• Act as liaison between R&D and Design to ensure fabric MOQs and cost are within targets
• Create and update label placement guides and send out to vendors
• Check accuracy of BOM content (make sure fabrics/trims consistent)
Competencies:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
• Possess strong knowledge in garment construction and specifications
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and decision making skills
• Deadline focuse3d and goal driven
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Minimum Qualifications:
• 2-3 years experience in similar role
• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and knowledge of CAD a plus but not required
• Excellent computer skills including Excel and Internet research
• Solution oriented and critical thinker
• Flexible and adaptable
• Must be able to perform efficiently with tight deadlines
• Team player and ability to multitask
Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree in fashion or related field
• Strong fabric knowledge
