About the Job
Serves as the brand spark for vision and strategic direction for Fast Fashion Trend opportunities, bringing full lifecycle launches to life with a speed-to-market mindset. Acts as nucleus for M·A·C to develop and evolve Fast Fashion model for the Brand. Create a drop strategy that is highly anticipated and coveted by beauty addicts.
About Your Responsibilities:
Innovate products and concepts that create new business opportunities
•Stand up Fast Fashion capability within M·A·C – includes building in-house trendspotting mechanism and establishing a rhythm of fast-fashion drops working with partner functions. Collaboration groups include, but are not limited to:
–Marketing Strategy & Analytics – identify trends or test extent and reach of trends for scaling launch opportunities
–Corporate Insights, Online Customer Service (OCS), Global Communications, M·A·C Artists, M·A·C PRO (i.e. customer-facing entities) – collect, understand, and synthesize customer insights and data inputs for idea lead generation
–Regional Marketing teams – aggregate disparate trends for global impact
•Discover and vet global Colour market trends in lips and eyes for compatibility with brand strategy and brand equity
•Study and obsess over Fast Fashion capabilities across competitors and external influences and establish at MAC
•Lead effort to change the Global & Regional M·A·C mindset toward pipeline development and innovation – bring incubator mindset to longer-term opportunity pipeline development and proactively identify pipeline gaps that can be addressed with Fast Fashion execution
•Foster close relationships with ELC functions (GBSC, GSR, IP, Online, Corp Marketing, etc.) to evaluate feasibility and execute Fast Fashion concept across brands, channels, and/or with vendor partnerships
•Prepare Product Development briefs in partnership with Product Development, category lead and Concept Ideation briefs in partnership with category lead, Consumer Marketing and socialize with senior leadership
•Lead execution of product marketing strategy including product launch process and go-to-market strategy
Inform product strategy that drives business and reinforces brand equity
•Leverage deep understanding of entire M·A·C product portfolio to design strategy and lead execution for Global trend-inspired launches, activations and refreshed product launches (i.e. map or parlay existing products to emerging trends) in partnership with category owners. Own development of new concepts and lead the brief-writing process – with goal of bring product in M·A·C Fast Fashion portfolio to market within 6 months or less
•Support category leads and contribute to innovation pipeline and sufficiency with Calendarized moments in trend driven categories
•Manage ad hoc business analysis requests as needed
Leverage key insights gleaned from a refined analytics practice to inform decisions
•Manage analytics usage throughout the function accomplish strategic goals
•Leverage data to inform decision-making for strategy development and adjustments as necessary
•Remain relentlessly up-to-date on emerging and future trends across all relevant industries to identify and grow business opportunities
Qualifications

•Independent, self-starter, well organized, detail oriented with exceptional organizational and follow up skills, and ability to execute projects with “speed to market” mentality and vetted launch initiative results
•Strong analytical, written/oral communications, excellent presentation and problem-solving skills.
Experiences You Have
•End-to-end product launch experience from Innovation ideation and product development through activation
•Experience with fast-fashion apparel or beauty launches on a global landscape, proven ability to launch products/programs and drive revenue quickly
•Thorough knowledge of standard MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) as well as financial and project planning tools (SAP)
•6+ years of relevant experience
