Director, Product/Consumer Marketing & Creative, Frederic Malle and By Kilian
The Director of Consumer Engagement & Product Marketing is responsible for partnering with the Vice President of Marketing to develop the strategy, guidelines and oversee implementation of North America Consumer Engagement and Product Marketing, including Category planning and Objectives, 360 Marketing strategy, Events, PR, CRM, National Media, Creative Visual, and Sampling. They will also support the strategy and development of the North America Retail marketing programs to ensure Retail programs align with National priorities.
Marketing Strategy 20%
•Create, develop 3 year Marketing Strategy inclusive of category targets, NPD ranking, customer growth and marketing innovation for both By Kilian and Frederic Malle
•Lead all 360 recommendations for newness and core by season inclusive of product, media, creative, events, sampling, and consumer strategies.
•Create Budget guidelines and ROI targets for North America Marketing and continue maintain and update
Product Marketing 20%
•Partner with Vice President of Marketing on 3 year category planning to ensure By Kilian and Frederic Malle is growing at an accelerated rate and growing market share.
•Provide top-sided new launch forecast recommendations for the product pipeline calendar
•Determine launch cadence, early leads, and exclusives to ensure side-by-sides are balanced and anniversary
•Partner with Account Management team to determine product exclusives and early leads
•Spearhead all pricing increases including competitive benchmarking
•Spearhead communication with Global and cross-functionally across Trade, PR, Online, and Marketing
Consumer Engagement Marketing 20%
•Assist VP of Marketing to outline National Media strategy and recommendation. Liaise with agencies on National Media execution and continually optimize budget spend and performance
•Assist VP of Marketing with PR strategy and PR agency relationship; build relationship with Influencers and strategize on PR and Consumer Events to drive awareness, engagement, and sales
•Assist in development of Eventing and Education strategy to be regionally relevant and executable in-store
•Partner with Online teams to continually grow .coms and drive traffic and conversion
Creative 20%
•Lead Visual Merchandising strategy in-store and recommend best practices to Global
•Continually enhance and make recommendations for easy navigation as POS
Team Development 20%
•Lead team of 4; develop and continually coach individuals for maximum potential
Qualifications
-Highly organized and detail oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and take complete ownership of projects
-Must be a self-starter with project management skills and a proactive approach to ensure all deliverables are completed in a timely manner
-Strong interpersonal skills; ability to lead cross functionally and build relationships internally and externally
-Strong analytical skills combined with a high level of creativity
-Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to personally set priorities and motivate others
-Must possess excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-Interest and passion for North America marketing including Product, National Media, PR, Retail Marketing, and Competitive landscape
-Marketing experience within Prestige/Luxury Fragrance industry a plus
