Overview
The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for various functions within the team, notably supporting the Lockers social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and others. The position will support to the Social Media Manager for Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, and Lady Foot Locker. This position requires extensive collaboration amongst the Integrated Marketing group, Brand Teams, other marketing disciplines and product teams.
Responsibilities
• Support Foot Locker and Kids Foot Locker social media managers on all social media activities and responsibilities on a daily basis
• Collaborate with social media managers and brand teams to build and maintain the social media calendar for Lady Foot Locker and add support on Foot Locker and Kids Foot Locker as needed
• Coordinate with social media manager to publish and manage all day to day social content on Lady Foot Locker channels and support on Foot Locker and Kids Foot Locker social channels as needed
• Organize and secure product for daily social media and brand photoshoots for social media content in coordination with brand, social and product teams
• Create and maintain launch calendars for E-Cares team
• Support social media manager at Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker and Lady Foot Locker and cover vendor and brand live events
• Create weekly and monthly social media analytics reports for Lady Foot Locker and support on Foot Locker and Kids Foot Locker
• Analyze and create social media campaign recap reports for Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker and Lady Foot Locker
• Monitor social conversation on Lady Foot Locker social channels and create reports as needed
• Collaborate with brand, social media managers and PR team to help grow the Locker’s influencer network by cultivating relationships and securing influencers for brand programs, content franchises and events
• Coordinate with social media managers and e-commerce team to secure assets for cross-channel social media marketing initatives, including the APP
• Support social media managers as needed for social media content franchises for all Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker and Lady Foot Locker
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
• 4 year college degree
• 1-3 years experience in marketing/advertising at a corporation or agency
• Excellent communication skills (phone, e-mail and presentations)
• Outstanding writing skills
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing requirements and technologies
• Exhibition of good judgment
• Strong Computer Skills. Knowledge of:
◦ Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
◦ Adobe Design Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)
◦ Wordpress
• Passion for sneakers and sports
• Enthusiastic, motivated, innovative, problem-solving, creative team player
• Knowledge of social media software i.e. Sprinklr, Julius, Spredfast a plus
