Mission/Role
Reporting to the Director of Software Development, the Quality Assurance Analyst, Ecommerce is responsible for creating, managing and supporting the QA strategy for ColeHaan.com, from an automation, functional and execution perspective. Also, responsible for feedback and guidance during the requirements and analysis phases within sprints, authoring and performing test cases /use cases alongside development and operations; as well as various project and support related activities.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Triages and documents details for reported issues
Defines, develops and maintains test scripts (manual and automated)
Designs, maintains and executes manual and automated test cases for functional and end-to-end tests
Ensures comprehensive test coverage of functional tests and regression test suites between QA, Operations and Development
Performs manual functional testing from user perspective
Coordinates user acceptance testing with business stakeholders
Executes/coordinates execution backend processes to facilitate order flows through test systems for end-to-end tests
Supports various teams during releases with post-launch QA validation
Performs testing for feeds in various formats such as XML, JSON, and CSV
Escalates issues to various teams proactively and alerts the project team on potential impact to test schedule
Provides timely and accurate status defect information and appropriate metrics to facilitate QA reporting
Participates in all test phases per project needs
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or equivalent work experience
• 3 years prior experience in QA testing methodologies in a retail, ecommerce environment
• Strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to drive defect triage meetings and articulate defect details
• Ability to analyze application logs to gain understanding of data related issues
• Background in testing software at API and Web service level and testing ecommerce applications
• Experience in designing, writing, and executing test cases
• Knowledge of defect management tools (JIRA)
• Knowledge of automation testing suites
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills
• Position can be based out of Greenland, NH or New York, New York
