Account Executive - Military
Your Role
We are seeking a strong Account Executive to join our Specialty team, supporting the AAFES & Nexcom Military accounts and drive sales.
Direct Selling
-Serve as primary contact for account buyer/planner
-Direct selling of brand product assortment clusters to accounts on a volume/door size
• Negotiate seasonal financial plans with accounts for shipment/receipt plan
-Place new orders, replenishment orders and track shipments
-Resolve account issues as needed
Sales Strategy
-Set overall sales strategy with accounts, including directing Brand assortments, category management, etc.
Analysis and Reporting
-Monitor sales performance and deliver monthly recaps
-Analyze business and drive orders/reorders on newness, active styles, QRS, OTB negotiations
-Run availability reports
-Develop presentations for account meetings based on standardized templates
-Edit market prep and account information for account summits
-Provide material trend insights to VP/SVP for monthly S&OP meetings
Account and SKU Planning
-Coordinate with planning and finance teams for forecasting sales and trends
-Partner with Demand planner on QRS/Replenishment changes by account/clusters
Account Marketing
-Communicate POS and asset needs to marketing team as input global toolkit development
-Coordinate coop and POS assets with Go To
Your Skills
• 5 + years account management, sales or buying experience strongly preferred
• Excellent retail math and analytical skills required
• Open-to-buy management required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record in building partnerships with accounts and/or vendors
• Excellent multi-tasking skills
• Proficiency in Excel required
