Product Development Coordinator - DKNY Handbags
Overview

Bass, among others, seeks a Production Assistant to join its team based in New York City!
Responsibilities
• Assist on all lines (DKNY mainline/offprice/outlet and Donna Karan mainline/outlet)
• Communicate with overseas and internal DKNY/DK teams on all development and merchandising projects
• Review emails daily and answer appropriately. Review any questions or concerns with manager.
• Weekly Review of time & action calendar to ensure all teams are meeting target due dates
• Track, check in, and assist in setting up all proto stage samples
• Manage/maintain all material/hardware/trim development libraries
• Maintain all organization of development documents in shared drive.
• Aid upper management in compiling all development/reference sample invoices
• Aid upper management on all merchandising and development charts.
• Record/input all comments and noted from development and merchandising meetings to appropriate working tools for all teams to have updates.
• Assist on all sample ticket file creation/maintenance
• Assist on all creation of development/merchandising boards
• Enter seasonal style information into PLM system
• Follow up and communicate seasonal line list changes and update
• Create/maintain/distribute all seasonal product change logs
• Assist in floor layout planning for pre-market showroom-merchandising set up.
Qualifications
• People skills – ability to build relationships with different departments/employees
• Must be able to multi-task
• Well organized
• Good Time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft systems
◦ Excel (Formulas, pivot tables, filters, tables)
◦ Word
◦ Power point
• Knowledge of photo shop and illustrator a plus
• Bachelor’s degree required
