Job Description
The Marketing Manager will assist with the development and execution of StyleHaul’s marketing strategy to raise awareness of the StyleHaul brand in the marketplace through key partnerships, event activations, social media and other relevant platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for assisting in the creation and execution of an annual multi-channel marketing strategy to drive growth and awareness of the StyleHaul brand
• Build and manage responsibly a corresponding annual budget, with budget tracking and accountability per initiative
• Develop creative concepts and copy for marketing collateral such as invites, promotional items and newsletters
• Partner with and support the Director of Event Marketing to conceptualize and execute StyleHaul events
• Create event and campaign recap reports
• Research and review events and initiatives of potential value to StyleHaul for partnership
• Partner with internal talent team around StyleHaul’s participation in marquee industry events including BeautyCon, VidCon and Playlist Live
• Provide marketing support around key Original Content projects such as ‘Relationship Status’ on go90
• Manage distribution lists, invite process, correspondence, deployment and RSVPs for events and newsletters
• Make updates to StyleHaul.com copy and posts
• Oversee StyleHaul branded merch ideas, ordering, tracking and distribution
• Manage the @Hauk social handle on Instagram, including sourcing imagery, writing captions and publishing
• Manage StyleHaul’s blog, The Haul, including weekly calendar and updates to the site
• Strive to stay current in knowledge of trends, events and industry standards
• Assist in efforts to capture original content including producing photo/video shoots and involvement on StyleHaul’s owned and operated social channels (including on-camera and event coverage as needed)
• Oversight of intern hiring and daily tasks
• Possess exceptional time management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects
• Team player who can work collaboratively and also have an entrepreneurial spirit and be a self-starter
• Handle multiple tasks, switching priorities and focus as needed
Key Competencies and Qualifications
• Event strategy and execution experience
• Strong social media landscape understanding and experience
• Conceptual thinker with ability to be flexible in an evolving corporate culture
• Organized and efficient
• Flexible and trustworthy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• ~4 years’ professional experience in marketing
• Strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel and PPT and social media platforms
• Interest in the YouTube, social media and fashion/beauty/style space
• Ability to work weekends and travel as needed
