Description
Graphic position responsible for designing commercially viable graphics to be applied to apparel (on product), tying it back to the overall concept and business strategy. Presents and delivers brand-right graphics to leaders and teams; providing a compelling point of view and influencing key decisions. Help drive the interpretation and integration of graphic trends and consumer needs that uphold the integrity of the product line(s)/brand. Demonstrates a passion for the brand, inspires individuals and relies on leadership skills to plan and accomplish goals. Reports to Design Director, Print / Pattern / Graphics.
Responsibilities
Research graphic ideas appropriate for the seasonal concepts brand
Interpret specific brand concepts into applied graphic designs
Develop prototypes of graphic designs using store bought samples or original creative concepts
Create and maintain seasonal graphic concepts for each design line
Work closely with cross functional partners (product design, graphic production, merchandising, product development, etc.) to execute all deliveries in a timely manner
Maintain state of the art knowledge of design trends and techniques
Keep up with current fashion and graphic trends
Assist in organizing graphic concepts and creating visuals for cross functional partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic or Textile Design or equivalent experience
3-5 years of graphics design experience in a related field,
Applied Apparel Graphic Experience Preferred
Strong brand logo experience
Ability to work within a team environment
Ability to use Adobe suite, Photo Shop, Illustrator, etc.
