Specific Responsibilities
• Set the aesthetic tone of the department and assure the highest quality standards
• Design innovative graphic artworks that are brand relevant for the Juicy Couture customer
• Research and develop new graphic ideas, materials and techniques
• Demonstrate ability to visually translate ideas into a final product
• Demonstrate diverse skill set in heavily detailed graphic techniques
• Have clear understanding of the existing and potential customer base, as well as the competitive landscape
• Demonstrate ability to partner with senior fashion designers, as well as merchandising team
• Lead and mentor team of graphic designers
• Ensure graphics department meets calendar deadlines

• Minimum 8 years of graphic design experience in apparel
• Experience working with overseas factories
• Knowledge of apparel business including screen print techniques, embellishments, appliqués, and embroidery
• Fundamental knowledge of colors, composition and typography
• Strong sense of type, hand lettering ability and excellent illustration skills
• Broad skills in paint, ink and pen
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
• Advanced design related degree preferred
