Crocs Global Marketing is the worldwide hub for global brand strategy, creative, and marketing activation. Along with the internal creative and marketing operations teams, the brand communications team develops, manages, and executes Social Media and Public Relations strategy in the US while supporting multiple regional offices everywhere from Amsterdam to Singapore. The Global Marketing Communications Intern will have the opportunity for on-the-job learning in a high-paced, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment while providing the team assistance in bringing the brand to life.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop Social Media knowledge, skills and expertise by supporting the Global Social Media Manager in strategy development, community management, agency management, and content creation
• Foster project management skills by helping to develop creative and program briefs
• Build communications skills through creation and sharing of program outlines, presentations and supporting collateral
• Advance marketing acumen by gaining understanding of the Social Media and PR roles within a $1B+ global organization by facilitating and participating in key strategy work sessions
• Assist in creation of the social media content calendar, facilitate creative briefing and coordination/management of assets
• Support Social Media Manager in social listening, monitoring, and real-time community management
• Facilitate agency meetings through scheduling and agenda development
• Support Global PR Manager with agency management, PR activations, and global communications support
• Participate in ad-hoc projects
• Observe/participate in weekly team status meetings
• Attend cross-functional marketing program planning meetings, take notes and provide recaps
• Participate in global marketing summit meetings
• Job shadow and/or meet with cross-functional stakeholders to learn about their areas of business (product development, retail, wholesale, eCommerce, etc.)
• Crocs company onboarding
• Internal speakers / development seminars
• Participate in department “Lunch & Learns”
• Other formal training opportunities to be available based on individual interests
PROJECTS:
• Support Spring/Summer 2018 global marketing campaign from a Social Media perspective
• Coordinate day-to-day social media community management
• Facilitate seasonal internal and consumer communications/PR initiatives

• Enrolled in one of the following:
◦ Last Year of a Four year degree program
◦ Last semester of a 2 year degree program
