Levi Strauss & Co.’s global internal communications team is on the hunt for a smart, strategic and tech-savvy content manager, responsible for sourcing, producing and editing the most compelling stories from across our global business. You would own the company's intranet, creating compelling content to engage employees and incite excitement around the Levi's brand!
DESCRIPTION
We’re looking for a natural storyteller who is capable of managing a dynamic editorial calendar and developing compelling multimedia content who is also a passionate advocate for employee business literacy and engagement. In this role, your primary focus will be to manage the development and publication of perfectly edited and high impact communications across all of our employee channels. You’ll ensure that all content effectively maps back to company goals and strategy. You’ll also work closely with our business and technology partners to deliver an optimal user experience for employees.
You have a minimum of five years’ experience in copy editing and content production, ideally in the corporate communication sector or media industry. Additional experience in reporting, journalism, blogging, and social media a plus! You have a knack for spotting opportunities, a good knowledge of the media landscape, sound judgment and excellent written and verbal communications skills. You thrive under pressure and are able to prioritize multiple tasks against objectives with ease. Wearing multiple hats is second nature to you and no task is too big or small - you can think high-level, brainstorming compelling stories, while also able to roll up your sleeves and meet a tight deadlines and drive the team forward!
Responsibilities:
• Manage integrated editorial calendar for internal audiences
• Publish content daily across our internal communications platforms
• Work with project and content owners to write and edit a wide range of communications that reflect our business, its vision and goals
• Plan, create and execute communications assets in support of major launches/events/ announcements
• Copy edit a broad range of Corporate Affairs content, as required
• Track and analyze metrics to measure reach and effectiveness, while identifying opportunities for improvement
• Explore and implement new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and audience engagement
Professional Skills and Requirements:
• Results-oriented professional with at least five years of corporate communication and/or media industry experience, capable of managing digital channels
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, journalism, English or related field
• Experience collaborating with IT teams and agencies to define modern, highly engaging digital experiences
• Experience working with all employee communications apps and platforms (e.g. intranet, collaboration tools, social listening, blogs, video, photography etc.)
• Familiar with Sharepoint
• Exceptional communicator with outstanding oral, written, editing and presentation skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Self-starter, who is agile and comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change quickly
• A ‘big-picture’ thinker, with the ability to provide timely, strategic and tactical guidance to teammates and cross-functional business partners
