Organizational Structure:
The opportunity is intended for rising seniors who are interested in beginning their careers in the world of luxury fashion. With an emphasis on learning, these positions will offer the opportunity to work as an integral part of our business. Throughout the 10- week process, the program will enable students to recognize the valuable efforts that are made in each department, contributing to the overall success of the brand in our NY and LA corporate offices.
Responsibilities
Marketing:
• Assist with creative development (photo shoots, look books, advertising campaigns)
• Assist with Vince’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter)
• Assist with event concepting, planning and execution for Vince retail stores and with wholesale partners (Bergdorf Goodman, Saks, Bloomingdales)
• Assist with regional marketing efforts
• Assist with media planning and buying
• Miscellaneous Marketing Projects and Partnerships
Pubic Relations:
• Manage sample trafficking for international and domestic requests via FashionGPS
• Maintain highly organized closets, including multiple seasons of men’s + women’s ready-to-wear and footwear
• Search and scan press clippings (print + online) for all international and domestic publications; assist in preparation of weekly press recaps
• Search and clip all VIP dressing coverage (including celebrity, influencer, etc.)
• Create and maintain media lists for all international and domestic markets
• Assist with planning and preparation for press previews and brand events
• Work directly with PR Coordinator & Manager to create relevant pitches and press collateral pertaining to seasonal trends, store openings and VIP dressing
• Create seasonal market trend overviews + fashion week recaps
• Perform general administrative duties including but not limited to archiving, scanning and packaging
Qualifications
• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s program at an accredited college or university
• Rising senior required
• Effective project management skills are necessary
• Computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email
• Social media skills to include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest
• Self motivated, ability to multi- task, critical thinking, problem solving skills, initiative, drive, common sense, creativity and flexibility are essential
• Excellent communication skills
