Position Summary:
The Product Merchandiser Manager is an integral part of the global merchandising team and a key partner of Fox dealers in the US market. The US product merchandiser is given the opportunity to provide input into the product creation process and shape the future of Fox in MX, MTB and Lifestyle. Fox racing US is recruiting for a Product Merchandising Manager role, with responsibilities for the US product category assortment for MX (Fox and Shift), MTB and lifestyle; the role is reporting to the General Manager North America, and work closely with the Director of Merchandising. The mission is to work closely with national, area and representative sales and brand management teams as well as internal cross-functional teams (product marketing, design, development, and demand planning) to deliver premium product story telling, franchise lifecycle management and meet and exceed regional revenue and go-in-margin targets. Frequent travels in different States of US will be needed.
Essential Functions of this Role:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
• Strong leadership skills to be able to guide and influence global product management teams, designers, developers and US sales force
• Strong understanding of core MX and MTB consumer and market dynamics, as well as competitive product offers within and outside the industry.
• Build a strong product assortment with a clear strategy for all US markets (MX, MTB and Lifestyle)
• Be a US market expert: knowledge of the market in term of product offering, competition, distribution and consumer.
◦ Establish market report (sell thru analyses, key stories penetration, market survey)
◦ Market visit observations and inputs
◦ Participation to trade show and events
◦ Drive a group of fox expert (product committee including sales representatives)
• Build product assortment for US marketin order to fit to the global brand strategy and support the financial targets (net sales, profitability, margin)
◦ Briefing the US market needs to the global product management team (line plan, design review, segmentation...)
◦ Active participation in product review meetings with the global team.
◦ Assure a strong voice of the US market. Follow up at the different step of the product development calendar. Regular touch-based meeting with global team.
◦ Build accurate product forecast for the US market to measure the performance of the assortment again the regional target.
• Range management through the product lifecycle
◦ Work closely with Global management team to define the line lists for US market (prices, carry over)
◦ Support the Go to market implementation to the US market (key stories)
◦ Work with the US marketing department to oversee catalogue development and marketing supports (POP, press review)
◦ Work closely with operation department (planning) to pilot the collections (forecast, buys)
◦ Guarantee a cross department information flow through the US regional team (internal product training, sell in and sell thru report.…)
◦ Responsible for samples order for the US market
◦ Product presentation to sales forces and to some key accounts

Work Environment:
• This job operates within the corporate Irvine, CA office
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
• Degree in Business or design school
• Preferable – experience in MX or MTB industry (at least in sport clothing industry)
• Knowledge in product development, product design (fabrics, functionalities, construction)
