What This Position Is All About:
The Merchandise Assistant works within the Buying team on a variety of tasks, processes, and communication. The MA primarily assists the Buying office with go-to-market preparation, sample management, tactical vendor communications, price changes, and ad hoc analysis support. The position requires frequent communication with other members of the buying team as well as with vendors, distribution centers, stores and customers.

• Willingness to learn
You Also Have:
• University or college degree
• Detail oriented
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong computer skills - preferably MS Word and Excel
As the Merchandise Assistant, You Will:
• Help with go-to-market preparation (e.g., schedule & book appointments, assist with shopping list)
• Manages sample process for marketing and advertising submissions
• Acts as primary point of contact on admin topics with vendor (e.g., order tracking)
• Actively follows through with stores to ensure that RTV's and Transfers are processed in a timely manner
• Support the markdown and price change process by working with buyer and vendors to determine markdown strategy
• Communicate pricing strategies to stores through store communication tools
• Support ad hoc analysis
• Additional responsibilities as required
