Primary Purpose
Fanatics, Inc. is seeking an analytical and detail oriented Marketing Specialist to join our eMarketing team. The Marketing Specialist will work closely on all aspects of Google Product Listing Ads and Comparison Shopping Engines in a tightly knit team. The ideal candidate will have search, display, social, email or general digital marketing experience. This candidate must enjoy working closely with numbers, analyzing trends and troubleshooting complex marketing systems. Fanatics is a fast paced environment and great opportunity to learn from a talented team of marketing professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Comb through data and make bidding optimizations based on channel goals and priorities.
• Routine deep dives to optimize performance on all major dimensions, including device, team, department, audience etc.
• Work closely with analytics team to continuously improve bidding systems and bidding platform.
• Report on results and analyze ongoing A/B tests to continuously improve channel performance.
• Closely monitor main KPIs to help senior leadership stay on top of ongoing business trends.
• Assist with advertising efforts around major sporting events and holidays.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and be able to help resolve feed and bidding errors.
Education and Experience Requirements
• 1-3 years of marketing experience.
• Data driven, can analyze, summarize and present data.
• An organized individual with great attention to detail and focus on quality of results.
• Process driven and has an eye for continual improvement.
• Takes accountability and ownership of his/her own work.
• Familiar with Microsoft excel.
• Ability to change focus easily and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Willingness to dedicate time outside of normal business hours to help launch advertising during major sporting events, and peak shopping season (i.e. College National Championships, Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of SQL a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
