Job Description
One Jeanswear Group designs, markets, produces, and distributes a distinguished portfolio of branded and private label Jeanswear brands throughout North America. We work with retailers in every tier of distribution, seamlessly adapting to the dynamic retail landscape to reach our widespread consumer base. ONE Jeanswear Group, Inc. currently has a great opportunity for a Product Development Manager for a Missy brand. The Product Development Manager will coordinate and manage the development and approval needs for our brands. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Create and manage time and action calendar
• Create and manage sample fabric tracking chart
• Source new fabrics for design
• Maintain fabric and trim library
• Communicate daily with overseas vendors, mills, factories and sample rooms
• Create line lists
• Request samples from vendors as needed
• Make bulk approval comments on lab dips, strike offs, fabrics and trims
• Maintain product approvals library
• Resolve development and bulk production issues
• Adjust to changing business needs/priorities
• Understanding of market trends
• Attend all relevant department, brand and cross-functional meetings
• Lead cross functional meetings and follow up on issues
• Liaise with design, fabric R&D, production, and sales
Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience related experience
• Must know knowledge of Denim washing & processing
• Knowledge of knit and woven
• Must have working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & MAC systems
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience working with multiple calendars
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in fast paced environment under pressure
• Bachelors of Arts
