Job Description

PacSun is looking for multiple forward thinking, retail minded, creators of culture who have an appreciation for fashion and learning. The 2018 Summer Internship Program is a 10 week opportunity beginning June 4th and ending August 10th, to explore the inner-workings of select departments such as:
Product Development Intern
The Product Development intern will be responsible for:
• Coordinate and track the development of samples
• Evaluate sample execution and ensure tech pack adherence with Product Manager
• Issue purchase orders and manage open order report
• Manage vendor WIP reports and communicate any changes to Product Manager
• Track shipments to ensure timely delivery of inventory
• Create and maintain seasonal files
• Maintain sample rack
• Manage outgoing and incoming international packages.
This program will challenge your ability to not only think critically and creatively, but also work as a team to strategize and implement solutions. Over the course of this internship, you will be presented with insight into your career path with exposure to the long term strategies and day-to-day tasks required in your selected department. This is a paid internship ($11.00/hour), that's right; we're paying you to spend time with us, get some work done, and instigate a little fun while we're at it. We look forward to meeting you!
Requirements
• Currently enrolled college students and/or recent graduates
• Must be available to work full time schedule
• Passion for fashion, retail, and process improvement
• Engaging personality with exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Strong organization skills
• Strong Creative writing skills
• Ability to work as a team member
• Retail experience preferred
• Ability to think outside the box
• Basic understanding of computers and Microsoft Office applications
