CK Calvin Klein Accessories Design Intern(s) - CALVIN KLEIN
The CALVIN KLEIN Accessories Design interns will have the opportunity to learn from our accessory design teams that support the following CALVIN KLEIN brands: CK Calvin Klein, CALVIN KLEIN and CALVIN KLEIN JEANS. Interns will also work closely with the RTW design and merchandising teams to understand how to design cohesive seasonal collections. Based on the intern’s skill set and portfolio, we will determine which specific brand each intern is best suited for upon interview and hire.
What to expect:
• Assist with design research, learn how to create inspiration boards
• Learn how to create detail sheets, specs, color-ups and materialization cads
• Learn how to sketch life size images of product
• Learn the importance in organizing and up- keeping material libraries
Candidates should possess:
• Handbag and Small Leather Goods design knowledge
• Excellent communication skills, dare to ask questions and have a point of view
• Proactive, can-do approach and ability to multi-task between projects.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, and team-player approach
Additional Program Information:
• Candidates must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program and be eligible to work in the U.S.
• The paid internship is based out of our NY offices and is not eligible for relocation or visa sponsorship.
• Candidates will be expected to work a minimum of 16 hours per week and can work a maximum of 28 hours per week
• The Spring Internship session will begin Monday, January 22 and conclude Friday, April 27
