The Director, Global marketing Media Strategy is responsible for managing day-to-day media planning and brand partnerships for Gap Brand Globally
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of annual and seasonal global media strategies inclusive of budget management, research, and measuring/recapping performance
• Develop POVs on new media/emerging tech properties and create execution plans
• Work closely with Regions to ensure global media strategies, calendars, and buying guidelines are upheld and in-line with marketing goals/objectives
• Coordination of Consumer Engagement team budget to Finance/Operations team
• Gather and report global media trends and insights
• Works in conjunction with Vice President to identify and create successful global partnerships for Gap (both seasonal and evergreen)
• Collaborate with key stakeholders both internally and externally in order to keep projects on brand and on time
• Partner with Brand Strategy team on measurement and case study development
• Follows trends within cultural space for planning consideration as well as global marketing share-outs
Qualifications
• 8 - 10 years experience in media strategy; agency or media/ entertainment company experience preferred
• Familiarity with planning/buying all media types is imperative
• Experience working on cultural/global brands, experiential programs, content creation, and Millennial advertising is preferred
• Background developing and managing partnership initiatives within music, film, branded entertainment, publishing, etc
• Experience working directly with outside vendors, brands, and media partners
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills
• Digitally connected and curious
• Bachelors degree required
