The Project Lead-Integrated Supply Planning is responsible for supporting users, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives associated with advanced supply planning activities of Tiffany jewelry utilizing JDA Integrated Supply Planning software. The Project Lead will work collaboratively across departments and business systems to optimize planning efficiency and accuracy through user training, system configuration and tuning and improving business systems integration. This is not a technical role, however, the Project Lead will possess a technical awareness level sufficient enough to work effectively with the IT Technical staff to troubleshoot issues and improve overall effectiveness of jewelry supply processes.
Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with demand planning, master scheduling, sourcing, and factory planning, to support each team's daily utilization of JDA Integrated Supply Planning tools. Train users in advanced functions, customize views, incorporate off-line supply and demand information, and create reports to support the efficient utilization of JDA functionality.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement activity to meet overall business objectives through the effective use of integrated APS, ERP, and MES business systems. Utilize system experience to improve key performance measurements such as on-time delivery performance, internal capacity optimization, factory level loading, lead time reduction, inventory optimization, supplier performance, and plan cost reductions.
• Lead cross - functional teams to automate business functions and reduce manual processes. Work with senior leadership to synchronize organization structure with system capabilities.
• Work cross functionally to implement JDA Integrated Supply Planning modules and introduce existing modules to new business units as required to develop an end to end vertically integrated supply chain. Work with implementation teams, IT, continuous improvement, and consultants to research and develop best business and system practices across the supply chain.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree and 5 years diverse experience in 2 or more JDA Integrated Supply Planning modules including: Master Planning, Production Scheduling, Collaborate, Demand Planning, Replenishment Planning, Dynamic Allocation and Flow-Casting, Inventory Optimization.
• One or more professional certifications in Supply Chain, Process Improvement, or Project Management disciplines.
• Highly organized, with excellent follow through and analytical skills.
• Strong background in ERP/MRP systems. JDE/Oracle preferred.
• Proficient to advanced Excel skills.
• Strong appreciation for business process controls and change management.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Five to ten years in a manufacturing or supply chain analyst role.
• Participated in one or more JDA implementations.
• Planning and master scheduling experience.
• Experience in process improvement type role or has six sigma training.
