Description
This position reports to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for the North America Region. The ideal candidate will be a proactive financial professional with good foundational knowledge and experience in financial concepts. This position is responsible for a wide range of support and analytics across the regions channels, key accounts and brands. Key focus areas in the near term are within the region COE’s for selling and capital. This candidate will develop and manage a team of financial analysts working across the region on behalf of region, brand and key account processes and projects. The position requires the candidate to be able to work well with other departmental teams, both at the brand, affiliate and corporate level. The following describes some of the responsibilities.
• Manage and consolidate the forward estimate of capital spending.
• Lead the development of value added ROI analyses around capital spend, leading to accretive business decisions.
• Lead the annual planning process for capital expenditures, including aligning the brands capital review meetings with senior brand, region and key account management.
• Key support in managing the North America fixed asset capital team
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of the branded capital spend tracking reports through reviews, reasonableness tests, and analytical assessments.
• Assist in the review and analysis of selling costs. Both field / education and demo.
• Preparing key account and brand analyses aligned with region strategic goals of resource re-allocation.
• Develop standard management reports around effectiveness of spend. Driving decision making for accretive results across many cost areas but focused on Capital and selling.
• Create desktop procedures for all Fixed Asset and selling cost processes for brand finance and NAFP&A team.
• Conduct timely reviews for processes and give recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in SOX compliance work.
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis as requested by functional or finance leadership.
Qualifications
• Position requires 5+ years of related work experienced preferred
• College/University degree in Finance/Accounting or related field preferred.
• Proficient in Advance Excel, and accounting/financial reporting systems (SAP, CPM).
• Ability to work independently and in groups
• Proven problem-solving capabilities, strong communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
