Footlocker.com/Eastbay is searching for a Business Development Coordinator to maintain and develop strategic Eastbay marketing sponsorships and sales driven projects.
Responsibilities
The Business Development Coordinator will:
• Communicate effectively to build and maintain professional relationships with external and internal business partners and resources.
• Coordinate the maximization of sponsorships opportunities, and fulfill contract obligations.
• Organize and coordinate sales and marketing projects with internal marketing and events teams. This includes facilitation of sponsor related social, digital, print and other creative marketing initiatives. May also coordinate interactive youth athlete engagement experiences; content generation activities; and event advertising or presence marketing.
• Works with both Eastbay.com and Eastbay Team Sales on a variety of prospect engagement initiatives through partnerships and unique marketing initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely execution of department reporting routine elements, including various marketing and budget related reports and analysis.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have the ability to coordinate and ensure completion of marketing related activities and projects that promote Eastbay business growth. The person in this capacity works independently and with a variety of internal and external sources to accomplish tasks, while taking ownership of assigned work in a collaborative open environment.
A Bachelor’s degree with one to two years related marketing, events, or sponsorship related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Advanced communication, organizational, and project coordinator skills
• Ability to be detailed and flexible while working in a fast-paced team environment
• Previous experience in event planning, project planning, or sponsorship coordinating is a plus!
• Potential for occasional travel, but not required
