This role is a critical contributor to Banana Republic’s digital programs, across mobile, desktop and native app platforms. You’ll support in the development, execution and training for key content and features, as well as regularly partner with Banana Republic’s internal cross-functional teams and central Gap, Inc stakeholders. Across all work streams, you’re a customer experience and business user advocate, actively working to improve KPIs throughout the ecommerce purchase funnel. These qualities will make you great for this role:
• Excellent project management and organization skills.
• Previous experience with marketing analytics and AB test design.
• Creative thinker who questions the status quo and enjoys addressing technical or executional challenges.
• Comfort and confidence communicating with business partners (verbally and written).
• Working knowledge of page performance standards to optimize load times.
• Experience with content management systems and other website data management tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Expertise in cross-browser/cross-device QA of digital experiences.
• Interest in developing data-driven solutions to solve business problems.
• Some experience with User Experience (UX) principles, and an appetite to learn more.
• Flexible; can thrive in agile or highly structured work environments.
• Nice to have:
◦ Strong working facility with Photoshop or other modern graphic design software (eg. Sketch).
◦ Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript and other web development/production tools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• HTML knowledge, previous experience in ecommerce environment.
• 3-4 years of digital experience, web production
• 3-4 years of detailed task planning and execution experience
• Ability to influence and coordinate activities among cross-functional, cross-branded teams. Act as a liaison between business and technical resources.
• Highly process-oriented with superior skills in defining operational processes.
• Working knowledge of web production and release processes, including direct experience with website tools and technologies.
• Project Management skills.
• Excellent oral/written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills to effectively work with all levels within the organization.
• Experience in AB testing, basic data analysis and familiarity with reporting.
