Responsibilities
The Senior Director, Global Brand and Product Marketing will drive the development, launch and measurement of 360° global marketing programs and initiatives designed to communicate the brand vision as well as achieve company business objectives.
The primary goal of the role will be to ideate, develop and create global corporate strategies and guidelines for all marketing programs and initiatives to ensure that they are adapted appropriately and deployed in a timely and effective manner in all markets. The leadership and coordination of cross-functional and cross-regional teams is also a key aspect of this role.
• Work closely with key partners in creative, digital, PR, events, media, ecommerce, CRM as well as global merchandising and buying, to ensure that the marketing strategy is aligned with the seasonal vision of the brand & product collections.
• Lead the briefing and development of the seasonal and product marketing guidelines, inclusive of all visual assets (print and digital), event concepts (e.g, décor, catering and execution details), direct mail and other promotional materials.
• Develop clear, consistent, and timely communication to regional & divisional stakeholders of seasonal strategies, as well as global brand and product campaigns and initiatives.
• Partner with VP Global Marketing to manage annual plans and budgets.
• Develop comprehensive creative briefs reflecting the strategic objective of each program and initaitve, as well as the required deliverables, assets, budget, and timeline.
• Engage with regional marketing leads to understand and develop brand strategies that will support growth in their regions.
• Work with store planning/operations to prepare strategic marketing plans for new store openings.
• Collect and analyze customer insights and global market information, drawing conclusions on market trends and customer dynamics to inform marketing strategies and opportunities for the brand and collections.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Retail. MBA Preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in fashion/retail with a strong operational background in either marketing, communications and/or merchandising. Experience in global headquarters preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal relationship and partnership management skills in a B2B and B2C environment.
• Ability to outline a strategic plan, prioritize and make recommendations.
• Ability to lead a group of peers (and persuade superiors) to drive recommendations into implementation plans.
