Senior Analyst, North America Region
Description
This position reports to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis for the North America Region. The ideal candidate will be a proactive financial professional with good foundational knowledge and experience in financial concepts. This position is responsible for a wide range of support and analytics across the regions channels, key accounts and brands. Key focus areas in the near term are within the region COE’s for capital. Looking for a strong candidate who is willing to learn and operate in a fast paced environment. Candidate to be able to work well with other departmental teams, both at the brand, affiliate and corporate level. The following describes some of the responsibilities.
• Work closely with business and store construction teams to effectively manage and track capital projects; including creation of projects, release dates, communications back to Corporate Fixed Assets.
• Support manager with consolidation of the forward estimate of capital spending.
• Prepare and support multiple brands with the annual planning process for capital expenditures, including updating files to review during capital meetings with senior brand, region and key account management.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of the branded capital spend tracking reports through reviews, reasonableness tests, and analytical assessments.
• Support ROI analyses around capital spend.
• Support manager with the preparation of key account and brand analyses aligned with region strategic goals of resource re-allocation.
• Conduct timely reviews for processes and give recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis as requested by functional or finance leadership.
Qualifications
• Position requires 3+ years of related work experienced preferred
• College/University degree in Finance/Business Management related field preferred.
• Proficient in Advance Excel, and accounting/financial reporting systems (SAP, CPM).
• Ability to work independently and in groups
• Proven problem-solving capabilities, strong communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
