FUNCTION
The Internship comprises of two units: Technical Design / Product Development and Print Design
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: Other duties may be assigned)

Technical Design and Product Development
• Update all technical drawings into the new Ai format using Flex Plug-In
• Work with IT/continuous improvement team on SOP manuals for the new system
• Assist with the development of Fall 19 products collaborating with the Design, Sourcing and Merchandising teams
• Assist Sr. Technical Design Manager with the standardization of interlinings project
Print Design
• Create 2 lining prints for use on evergreen collections. Work with Print Design team to understand and appropriately apply Brand language and Design aesthetic.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• Minimum Junior status pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Product Development or Technical Design
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Strong analytical skills with decision making and problem solving ability
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong background in Microsoft Office
