About the Role:
We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help grow the Refinery29 audience and work closely with our internal and external content partners. The person will work in lockstep with teams throughout the company to execute creative marketing campaigns and partnerships. Our data-driven insights and marketing team has a passion for editorial content and is extremely organized and analytical. This role requires a natural passion to connect with the broader cultural and social media world, live in it day-to-day, and drive audience conversion on Refinery29’s key channels.

What you’ll do:
• Maintain brand relationships across editorial interest categories
• Manage execution of content partnerships and audience conversion campaigns
• Send/receive daily editorial pitches to key distribution partners, working closely with the editorial team to keep abreast of our content pipeline
• Manage routine reporting on partnerships and other audience conversion initiatives, including paid programs and email
• Provide support to Marketing Director and Marketing Manager on various ad hoc initiatives
• Monitor trends, strategies, and best practices in market and apply knowledge to partnerships and new initiatives
What you have:
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience
• An editorial mindset and knowledge of the digital media landscape
• Experience using and marketing across social networks, blogs, and content sharing communities including Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Tumblr, etc.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in MS Office
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated
• Data-driven, experience using web analytics and similar reporting tools is a plus (Google Analytics, Google AdWords)
• Ability to handle pressure and work to deadlines
• Organized and able to multitask efficiently
• High emotional intelligence
• Project management experience
