SUMMARY
We are looking for an Ecommerce Operations Manager to oversee global eCommerce sites and systems, and to manage the technical operations team of 1-4 people. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker who can dig deep into problems to help assess and find solutions. In addition, the candidate should also be very good at managing lots of concurrent activity at once, as well as shifting timelines and priorities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for transactional eCommerce site operations and monitoring of uptime and functionality.
• Troubleshoot production issues with the ability to dig deep into problems across multiple systems at various levels.
• Architect and support continual process improvements to reduce costs, increase revenue and optimize cycle times.
• Manage the Ecomm Operations team (1-4 direct reports).
• Support and assist the Ecomm Middleware and Integrations development team.
• Deploy / implement new systems and integration processes.
• Perform daily review of various global systems and data – review system and application logs to monitor system stability, perform data analysis and reporting using MS SQL.
• Monitor and recover down eCommerce systems as needed.
• Manage support cases with internal groups and external vendors.
• Help perform and coordinate routine maintenance across all eCommerce systems.
• Manage DNS and SSL requests for the business through system administrators.
• Rotating on-call support coverage required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Demonstrated leadership working in a complex corporate structure and an ability to influence across departmental boundaries to affect positive change.
• Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree preferred
• 10+ years in the B2C eCommerce and/or website application development industry
• Global eCommerce platform implementation & operations
• Documented background in all of the following:
◦ TSQL development and database concepts
◦ System and data analytics, troubleshooting
◦ SDLC
◦ Web development
◦ System integrations
◦ Payment processing concepts
◦ Networking concepts (DNS, SSL, FTP, etc.)
◦ PCI, SOX and PII compliance
◦ XML
• More than a working knowledge of most of the following:

◦ Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware)
◦ .NET/C# application development
◦ Scripting languages
◦ Microsoft Office
