We are looking for a Merchandising Coordinator who will bring clarity, management, organization and above all else, personality to our Global Merchandising team. It is important to us that this person has the energy and desire to manage the execution of all activities that are deemed necessary to produce manufacturing ready products. This person is also someone who is capable of driving success even with a wide range of diverse responsibilities. The notable responsibilities of the Merchandising Coordinator are:
• Execute our on floor programs and product initiatives at the retail level to drive sales growth
• Ensure that our product is optimally placed, properly sized and merchandised
• Train and supervisor temporary personnel
• Educate store personnel on our products and seasonal programs
• Share product-level insight with stakeholders
• Align our on floor strategies with the customer to drive the profitability of a product segment
• Maximize our retail presence by negotiating optimal real estate and square footage
• Ensure stock replenishment and size integrity on the selling floor
• Execute in store collateral
• Drive sales plans by door
• What the Merchandising Coordinator already has:
• Bachelor’s Degree, however a combination of college education and related work experience may be used as a substitute
• Minimum 3 years of wholesale, retail or visual merchandising experience
• Capability of being creative and a self-starter
• Dynamic analytical, problem solving and project management abilities with proven systems knowledge and expertise
• Flexibility with regards to job responsibilities
• Expert knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Extremely strong customer service orientation and the ability to multi-task; with the desire to work in a very fast paced environment and an ability to not become frustrated with last minute changes
• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills; especially when it comes to working directly with senior level directors
• Impeccable communication skills across all channels with an ability to get the message across over IM, email, phone, textStrong team orientation
• Excellent discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy
• Demonstrated ability to learn new computer programs quickly
• Must demonstrate an energetic, positive, helpful demeanor and a passion and interest in LS & Co.
