We are looking for interns that are just as passionate as we are about fashion, collaboration, and customer service.
The Sourcing & Tech Design intern will be assisting the team with key activities of product from initial development through in-store, partnering with Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, Planning, QA, Social Compliance, Agent and Vendor to deliver on brand product aesthetic, quality and margin objectives.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Clear and concise email communication to Agent and cross functional team
• Monitor production
• Weekly WIP report tracking
• Track exception reporting
• PO updates as needed
• Assist with sample and submit tracking
• Trend Research Utilize WGSN, internet, fashion magazines and archives to identify seasonal trends for knit dressing categories, work with team to create silhouette/concept boards which identify these trends
• Assist in creation & execution of design layouts and sketches
• Trim development and trim color approvals. Assist in seasonal trim development, communication with vendors and color approvals
• Maintaining and Updating trim and tailoring library
Qualifications:
• Photoshop and Illustrator experience preferred.
• Sketching experience a plus
• Currently enrolled and working towards a college degree
• Must be eligible to receive school credit for semester based internships
• Most importantly a curiosity and desire to learn
