Description
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to join the Nike Technology team! You will provide excellent support and coordination for the CIO and the Nike Technology senior leadership team.
You will perform a wide range of administrative duties, involving but not limited to, the following:
• Researching and composing correspondence on behalf of the executive, producing expense reports and purchase orders; attending meetings and tracking decisions and actions that emerge from discussions; updating organizational charts; coordinating department or equipment moves; ordering and maintaining office supplies; reviewing and screening incoming mail; establishing and maintaining hard and soft copy files; and copying and distributing materials
• Manage a complex calendar and orchestrates a full range of meeting, event, and travel arrangements.
• Utilizes expert computer skills and business knowledge to create high quality graphic and text presentations often under tight timeframes and limited direction. Interprets needs, determines and produces effective presentation layout and text, and organizes final documents.
• Research, gather, compile, compute, format, and interpret data and information to produce highly confidential and special reports requiring the identification and selection of relevant information from a variety of sources.
• Manage the process of ensuring effective channels of communication and data sharing among the business group leadership team.
• Be the point of contact for all day to day Nike Technology office matters that directly relate to the CIO and senior leadership team – to make sure the office runs smoothly.
Qualifications
As our Executive Assistant, you'll provide administrative support to the CIO. You'll handle phone coverage, correspondence, report production, scheduling and meeting coordination and preparation. You'll also screen calls, relay messages and respond to inquiries that do not require the CIO's involvement; read mail and faxed correspondence, highlight actionable items and respond when possible; and create complex, innovative and creative presentation-quality documents. In addition, you'll make complex domestic and international travel arrangements, complete and review expense reports and handle highly confidential and sensitive material.
Requirements for the position include:
• 1-3 years' administrative experience
• Strong reading, writing, math and communication skills
• Advanced working knowledge of personal computers, including MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Ability to work with a variety of personalities
• Ability to work flexible hours is preferred
• Previous experience with Org Plus or other Org Mapping software is preferred
• Previous experience handling sensitive and highly confidential material is preferred
• Previous Nike work experience is strongly preferred
We are looking for a confident individual with a Bachelor Degree and at least 3 years of work experience as an executive or personal assistant. You should have excellent organizational skills, experience in calendar management, organizing meetings and team events. In addition, working with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
