Position Purpose:
Provide MWDC with the following services:
Write/create:
• Create and revise SOPs and other work instruction documents
• Develop/create/maintain department documentation includes manuals and other tools.
• Training and communication, includes the daily announcement monitor in the break room and other communication that support various initiatives, safety or continuous improvement campaigns,
• Research/write for subjects on demand
Training/Continuous Improvement (CI)
• Develop/maintain/revise standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training documents for the MWDC.
• Develop/maintain new employee orientation manual and other training tools as needed.
• Ensure all DC employees receive proper training, especially in safety related areas and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Lead processes at the MWDC to drive Continuous Improvement (CI) and/or other education and initiatives.
Document Management:
• Develop/maintain/revise the SOP document management process to regulatory standards established by Estee Lauder and Aveda.
• Develop/maintain employee training sign-off process

Description of Duties:
• Build collaborative relationships with employees to ensure the documents and training needs are met within the regulatory framework.
• Work with DC teams to identify and implement Continuous Improvement (CI) education, tools and methods.
• Drive/champion Continuous Improvement initiative activities, and document CI savings and achievements on project forms.
• Create/write communications campaigns as needed and create presentations for the Break Room TV monitor.
• Create and revise SOP’s and Training documents for all areas of the MWDC.
• Edit SOP’s and training documents for form, content and clarity.
• Monitor employee training document system and update continuously as training activities are completed.
• Coordinate, schedule, and assist in all DC training activities, documentation of employee training activities, and retention of and updates to employee training documents.
• Set up training sessions and conference calls as needed for training or special project needs.
• Utilize DMAIC and other CI methodologies to lead, manage, and document process improvement projects.
• Learn, promote, and follow Estee Lauder Environmental, Health and Safety policies as well as all OSHA rules and regulations and other regulatory requirements as needed.
• Follow good safety practices and use good safety work methods.
• Extreme detail management in terms of records management processes, research projects and other one-of-a-kind projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Education:
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent, with two year business or technical degree preferred. Six sigma Green and/or Black Belt certifications or Continuous Improvement training preferred.
Experience:
3 to 4 years’ of supervisory experience in a distribution/logistics work environment and/or other business experiences that include proven writing and training abilities. Knowledge and experience in using CI processes and tools preferred.
Others:
Proficiency in all MS Office products and other technical tools as needed.
