Responsible for optimizing and analyzing product performance in the digital channel by focusing on improving and increasing new demand. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: Other duties may be assigned)

• Responsible for product performance and success of both full line and retired assortments.
• Responsible for regular presentation of key analytical findings and recommendations to ecommerce and cross-functional teams regarding product performance.
• Execute and manage product changes based on analysis; sort, ranking, exposure, location, etc.
• Manage digital execution of in season promotions. Guide assortment decisions and selections of promotions.
• Execute price changes based on product lifecycle and/or promotions
• Responsible for reporting, analysis, and identifying opportunities while collaborating with outside vendors.
• Perform quantitative analysis needed to make seasonal assortment decisions on verabradley.com and in our other digital revenue channels.
• Manage process of image and product selection for emails and site assets.
• Evaluate industry, consumer, category, and operational data to develop analytical insights and generate actionable business recommendations
• Evaluate new products through historical, competitive, and other relevant analyses. Guide initial merchandising placement and ranking based on findings.
• Support the selection and management of online merchandising tools (product recommendations engines onsite search) to execute online merchandising
• Cross functional coordination with MP&A team to ensure projections/orders are completed on a timely basis to support revenue plan, as well as coordination of inventory availability and inventory movement between channels
• Participate and manage the design, development, and implementation of reporting tools that inform the strategic management of product assortment, margin, life cycle and pricing
• Responsible for other Digital team projects as needed
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• High school graduate. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline required.
• 4+ years’ experience in merchandise planning and buying, consumer and trade marketing, or ecommerce
• Experience within upscale/luxury gift, apparel/ fashion accessory or home industries preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Merchandising skills and thorough understanding of product process
• Excellent PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office software. Advanced Excel skills required; financial modeling experience a plus.
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent organization and follow through skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers and handle situations with confidence, tact and resourcefulness
• Flexible, adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast paced office environment
• Strong team player
