Manager - Analytics & KPIs
Purpose and Scope: To serve in a senior analytical role on the Sourcing Operations team, responsible for managing multiple processes related to savings tracking and vendor performance management. This person will also help define and implement process improvements and other ad-hoc initiatives in order to create greater transparency and visibility to the sourcing organization’s performance. Role reports to the Senior Director of Strategy & PMO and will work in close partnership with Sourcing, Finance, Tech Design and Quality teams.
Responsibilities:
• General Management
◦ Perform business process analysis and own the design and improvement of new and existing processes and tools
◦ Regularly create and publish reports with C-suite level visibility
◦ Regularly review process/tool adoption and effectively resolve roadblocks
◦ Turn analysis and recommendations into effective and concise management presentations
◦ Support ad-hoc operational and strategic initiatives as required
• Savings Tracking
◦ Manage savings dashboard used to track quarterly savings for key sourcing initiatives
◦ Aggregate data from multiple sources and conduct analysis to update savings projections
◦ Work with cross-functional team in identifying and resolving issues that could impact savings
◦ Partner with Finance on AUC savings tracking
◦ Provide status updates to management, escalating risks and offering remediation options
• Vendor Scorecard
◦ Manage vendor scorecard used to track quarterly vendor performance across multiple KPIs
◦ Aggregate data from multiple sources and conduct analysis to assess vendor performance in areas such as costing, quality and on time delivery
◦ Aggregate vendor performance results and present to Sourcing team to assist in allocation decisions and to provide performance improvement suggestions
◦ Manage the vendor feedback process by creating feedback forms and scheduling calls/meetings
◦ Oversee overall scorecard development, suggesting and implementing changes based on internal and external feedback
• Sourcing Allocation Plan
◦ Manage the sourcing plan and tools used to guide vendor allocation decisions and country migration strategy
◦ Meet with Sourcing team on a quarterly basis to interpret data, review progress, and implement changes to the plan based on vendor scorecard performance
◦ Update the vendor and country allocation plan and create summary decks to facilitate management reporting
◦ Aggregate data to report on in-season vendor and country allocation and create summary reports for the team highlighting potential gaps and ways to address them
• Reporting
◦ Create future looking reporting
◦ Support team reporting needs that create visibility that is in line with process direction
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required. MBA a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a highly analytical role, preferably within a Sourcing organization
• Strong track record of project delivery and benefits realization
• Experience in defining and implementing projects and initiatives and coaching others through the process
• Experience with large scale organization transformations a plus
Business Acumen:
• Detail-oriented, analytical and results-driven problem solver
• Skilled in executive reporting and creating dashboards to illustrate progress and summarize risks
• High proficiency in PowerPoint required
• Excellent communication skills with strong ability to build cross-functional relationships and buy-in
• Ability to manage and manipulate large amounts of data in short periods of time
• Ability to identify and resolve interdependencies between functions and processes
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with ambiguity and limited oversight
Analytical Skills:
• Expert proficiency in Excel and VBA required. SQL, Tableau are a plus
• Experience with PLM and SAP is a plus
