External Job Description
The primary responsibilities of the Marketing Specialist include Plus Segment Project Management, Cause Project Management/Execution, Process and AdHoc jobs. This individual is responsible for the collection and compilation of cross-functional content for Marketing Vertical Milestone meetings. They must have strong inter-personal relationship building skills, focus on deadlines, detail-oriented and flexible in a high-paced, evolving environment. Growth opportunities in process and project management.
Project Management
• Monthly cross-functional coordination of content gathering & presentation compilation
• Meeting attendance & minutes
• Weekly Support Deck: Weekly cross-functional coordination of content gathering & presentation compilation for Monday High Level & Monday Business Review (Lane Bryant)
Job Lead / Project Management
• Schedule Development, Meeting Coordination & Set Up
• Creative briefs, kickoff documents & open/update jobs in AdTrax + Kick off
• Executional Oversight /Coordination with all internal and external partners to ensure that jobs meet program initiatives and goals (including offers, tests, Omni vehicles, Creative & Messaging, Legal, new operational elements)
• System Coordination: Register Round up, Coupon, Online
• Additional Production Support (Videos/Photoshoot)
• Proof: creative at checkpoints for accuracy & updates / files from production house & printer, ensuring that all corrections have been made
• Home Office Initiative Support
• Reporting and recaps to Manager
Process
• Anticipates potential schedule conflicts and develops solutions with internal and external partners in order to resolve those conflicts, ensuring that all Marketing meetings occur.
• Work in partnership with Traffic Specialist in order for department to meet all seasonal key milestones
• Communication development with manager of all process improvements
• Enforce usage of department processes with both internal and external partners
Meetings, Miscellaneous & Administrative
• Calendar / brief / other document updates & additions
• Misc Jobs, as requested (Corporate identity, HR Requests, Packaging, Posters)
• Misc. tasks as needed
• Attend weekly production meeting
• Weekly touch base with AVP, Marketing
• Communication of expected results and timelines
• Communication of timelines and deliverables to teams
• Miscellaneous projects and tasks as assigned
Requirements
Education:
• 4-year college degree in Marketing preferred or equivalent work experience
Experience:
• 3-5 years marketing experience
Skills:
• Must have excellent Microsoft Office knowledge (macro’s) and overall computer proficiency, preferably some Macintosh experience
• Must be deadline and goal oriented as well as flexible
• Have excellent organizational skills
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be self-motivated
• Successful candidates will also possess high attention to detail and time management
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
