Job Summary
L’Oréal USA’s Corporate Communications team is looking for a highly creative, proactive, and detail-oriented content producer with an eye for design to assist with conceiving and creating digital content for a variety of communication channels. From conception to completion, you will manage the process of bringing all types of content ideas to life, from graphic design to photos, videos and multimedia content.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Assist with conceptualizing and creating digital content for social media channels and lorealusa.com
• Create social-first video, graphic and image-based content optimized for different platforms
• Contribute forward-thinking content ideas that help amplify L’Oréal USA’s reputation among target audiences
• Ensure that all content or language published to L’Oréal USA social media platforms adheres to L’Oréal USA editorial guidelines
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify new stories, trends, and opportunities to create content
• Assist with managing creative agency to ensure project deliverables meet expectations and are on time and on budget
• Create and manage database of all L’Oréal USA visual assets
• Assist with ad-hoc design projects, including PowerPoint presentations and materials development
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2-4 years professional experience
• Experience in graphic design, photography and image editing; Experience with PhotoShop and InDesign
• Strong writing skills
• Some video production experience a plus
• In-depth knowledge/experience with all major social media platforms and good judgment on what makes attention-grabbing content for those audiences
• Experience producing social-first content on one or more social media platforms
• Strong project management skills
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Ability to take direction and understand L’Oréal USA’s unique mission and identity, but layer onto that your own creativity and fresh content ideas
• High level of organization, attention to detail and positive attitude
