Coordinator - Public Relations (North America)
Overview
The Global Public Relations team (North America) is looking for an eager and hard-working Public Relations Coordinator to help the team with the following:
• Create and manage both ongoing and recap reports for PR supported initiatives inclusive of seeding/gifting activity, digital influencer campaigns/programs, and events – partnering with Northern America PR coordinator to include confirmed and garnered editorial coverage
• Partner with North America Brand Management team on the monthly, initiative and occasion focused support communications across categories
• Data entry and management of the Launchmetrics platform on behalf of the region to track all gifting, seeding and dressing activity
• Support fellow NA PR Coordinator with fundamental understanding of editorial repository and reporting functions and analytics
Responsibilities
MEDIA & DIGITAL INFLUENCER RELATIONS
• Represent the brand with editors, digital influencers and key opinion leaders in an appropriate and professional manner
• Facilitate ad hoc image requests liaising with appropriate business units to procure proper image files for press
• Collaborate with Manager to emphasize and enforce elevated brand editorial positioning to PR agency network
• Support PR agency network with merchandise borrows, high res image requests, credit requests and local dressings
• Maintain digital influencer database
• Assist with digital influencer campaign conceptualization, ideation, casting, management and execution
• Monitor social media platforms for digital influencer and editorial activity from key accounts
• Manage team publication subscriptions
• Field, in a timely manner, all media inquiries received by press website and general PR inbox
• Update and maintain the Cision database organizing the team’s media lists and communication changes or updates to the team
EVENTS
• Ideate and conceptualize compelling media and influencer event programs in partnership with other key stakeholders
• Coordinate and plan event logistics, working closely with the CVM team
• Meet with and host press during events when appropriate
• Manage event invitation lists and RSVPs where necessary
• Assist team with management briefing in advance of press events
• Staff and support Northern America and Global PR events
GENERAL SUPPORT
• Execute physical PR collateral (press kits, editor gifting, invitations) distribution to key contacts, including editors, digital influencers and key opinion leaders
• Lend support for editorial photoshoots and celebrity dressings where needed
• Provide general administrative support to the NA PR Director and Managers including but not limited to: printing and collating, conference room bookings, conference call set up, visitor management, internal meeting hospitality
• Oversee temporary PR Administrative Assistant
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• At least 1-2 years of Public Relations/Communications experience.
• Experience with event planning and execution.
• Proficient in all relevant programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written skills and ability to work well with others.
• Strong organizational skills are required, including flexibility to work late hours/weekends if needed.
• Tapped into trends in social media/digitally-savvy.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Process-oriented.
• Agency experience.
• Passion and love of jewelry and design.
