The primary focus of this critical role will be to drive sales and profitability in the 19 stores that make up the Northwest/Pacific/Las Vegas Market in the US. This leadership position for US Retail is based in San Francisco reporting to the Group Vice President of US Retail Sales, based in New York. This role will be focused on driving organic sales growth in the existing store network and on leading a high-performing retail team.
This role is highly visible and a vital representation of the Tiffany Brand, especially with high value clients from across the market. This individual is responsible for the in-store experience and client development across a variety of store volumes, sizes, complexity levels and client mixes. All must be executed with the highest standards of the luxury retail experience.
The individual in this role will lead a team of 19 Store Directors. This individual will work closely and must build collaborative relationships with their Market Vice President peers along with the Regional Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, Human Resources, Retail Operations, Security and other Americas Retail Leadership functions for developing business strategies and for key decision-making within the market.
Responsibilities
Drive Sales
• Develop strategies to accelerate sales growth across the market; primary focus will be to improve sales and productivity of existing stores
• Create client development culture in the market’s stores and ensure leaders are building their businesses through clients and proactive clienteling
• Collaborate with peers to propose innovative approaches, different strategies and new ways of thinking
• Raise awareness about trends and significant business opportunities
Ensure Customer Focus
• Create more intimate relationships with clients and key players within the community through outreach and events, leading to a more sustainable repeat business and a stronger connection to the community
Elevate Client Service
• Continue to elevate and enhance the in-store experience by supporting the execution of the company’s customer experience vision and the Tiffany Touch
Talent Management
• Build and inspire a high-performing, engaged team that will work in concert across the market to drive business results
• As part of Grow with Tiffany, cultivate store leaders by creating development plans that address skill gaps and build stronger, more inspirational leaders
• Create succession plans for store leadership and develop broad external talent pipeline to bring quality talent into the business and to ensure that open positions are filled quickly
Leadership
• Constantly challenge the status-quo; lead and develop teams through innovation and excellence; challenge silos and encourage consistent and aligned strategy
• Identify market needs and collaborate effectively with business partners throughout the organization to shape broader Northern America strategies and align all structure and resources

Ideal Experience
• 12-15 years of demonstrated leadership success in retail, hospitality, luxury and/or cosmetics industry including a proven track record running a successful sales organization
• Prior multi-site leadership experience or proven success leading a team remotely
• Depth of experience related to the American/US consumer (consumer insights, tastes, preferences by regional area, etc.)
• Strong understanding and passion for luxury, lifestyle and fashion brands; experience in the retail industry is required
• Strong operational and execution focus while balancing many and varied perspectives
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to travel 80% of time
• Succession potential to grow with the organization, in place, upwards or laterally
