External Job Description
Responsible for coordinating the workflow of print and digital projects throughout the creative services team. The position works closely with the creative team, designers and business partners to ensure projects are completed on time. Responsibilities include managing the project workflow for all incoming projects, developing and maintaining production schedules and keeping all key stakeholders informed as to project status. Coordinator will work with clients to ensure that their needs are met with all projects, and to check for quality assurance (brand conformity, etc.
• Perform basic design edits and prepare PDF files for print
• Organize all required job information and content for creative team
• Traffic edits and assigns tasks. Proactively manages details throughout project life cycle, ensuring that deliverables are executed in a timely manner.
• Stay consistently informed of all active and forecasted projects
• Track and issue payment for invoices and update budget spreadsheets
• Consults team members for approval of schedules, revising schedules when necessary.
• Maintains a clear and reasonable vision of next steps and the big picture during project meetings and/or whenever project parameters change.
• Engages team members, internal clients and strategic partners, and external partners/vendors throughout project life cycle
Requirements
Education:
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.
Experience:
• Experience as a traffic manager/coordinator in an ad agency preferred
Skills:
• Strong understanding of project workflow
• Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Can handle instructions well and be extremely organized and detail oriented
• Excellent customer service and is flexible and adaptable to all scenarios, while understanding client etiquette
